As the flooring sector still feels the pich of the credit crunch, and there is still a stall on the housing market, there is some comfort in the fact that the large multiples are not sufficently placed to wheather the storm. you only need to look at the multiple casulaties to date. Woolies in the early days of the recession, and many more followed and then of late JJB, Comet, and one looking likely to topple more related to flooring industry is United Carpets. Having already put one of the subsiduary companies into administration back in October it looks likely that the second largest retailer of floor coverings is on the verge of failure. Much to the disappointment of any share holder, as shares where suspended earlier in the year whilst reportedly they carried out a review of the business, or in other words did not want to report to the city the extent of the rot. Probably all sounds like doom and gloom? But for independent retailers even in a market place that is not the same as pre recession, if a large multiple as mentioned above should fail the pie gets bigger for the rest. It's all simple market share maths, and should your customer service be second to none and you are maintaining the existing customer base that you have, this extra influx of business if you are located near a United Carpets would result for some, as the difference between business failure or survival. Unfortunately when large organisations like the above go down, it tends to be the customers that are the ones that lose out. Hopefully this is all a natural phenomonan such as forest fires. The process of big tree’s being burned to the ground so that the weeds, undergrowth, insects and small animals can thrive in daylight. Out of failure growth can succeed.

I have heard of trolls in the cyber world, cretins that go about to just generaly be a complete pain in the arse. However tonight we found that we had to set up a new home as our freedom of speach was being impinged. And not by spotty pre-pubesant teenagers with nothing to do. No!! But by grown up individuals or subordinates of such with instruction to hide the truth.

i am a big beliver in debate of the adult and arational kind, but what happened on dicuss tonight in relation to United Carpets Franchise was imature and pothetic to say the least. Just posting random letter, as opposed to engaging in dialog is boring, and gives strength to our belief that UC is run by morons. OR!!!! And just teasing with the moron simlie as they know what they are doing (or think they do) by not communicating. But this is going to be their fundemental down fall as there are to date over 20 and counting that are considering action! And before you laugh in the boardroom!! Not against United Carpets Northern...sorry UCN Realisations, but against the PLC....
